Page requests and hosting

When you request a page, the hosting provider receives technical connection information such as your IP address, request time and requested address. The scope and retention of technical logs depend on the hosting actually used. The site does not integrate its own analytics, advertising or tracking services.

Language choice

In the intended Cloudflare deployment, a country supplied by the host is used for the initial language choice. Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland receive German; other or unknown regions receive English. An explicitly chosen language address is preserved. Location is only an approximation and does not indicate an individual's language knowledge.

Your manual choice is stored in the nova_language cookie for up to one year. It contains only de or en. On purely static hosting without country information, the initial language is English. Delete the cookie in your browser to remove the saved preference.

Search and contact

Search runs in your browser using a local search file. Search terms appear in the page address and may therefore appear in browser history or technical access logs. There are no accounts, newsletter sign-ups, payments or uploads. Email is sent through your own email service, not a form submission on this website.

External services

Official information links lead to other websites with their own privacy rules. Images and page fonts are served without external font or image requests. A private Sites publication uses the hosting platform's access controls.
